You might have heard: Illusion is a cramped way-station for travelers and adventurers. All will be granted sanctuary if they ask. The hungry will be fed, and the bedless will sleep easy. The strange, queer, and even the monstrous are not turned away.In addition to the cramped café, there is a large collection of books and scrolls on a variety of topics, primarily sourced from the Sharlayan colony, for public perusal.Weapons are allowed inside, but there will be no fighting.

You might have heard: A secret girl's bar operates out of the basement of a small café in the Mist. Only those with the password can enter. Could this be it? It doesn't really seem like it, but...Very strange visitors may be more brazen in speaking about this place, but can such beings generally be trusted?

Out of Character_{(The Café)}

A place for chill café/tavern roleplay. The characters on staff have extensive ongoing stories, and sometimes that may spill over into the bar. Please expect appropriate in-character responses to anything out of pocket.Some Free Company chambers may be used for Rp on a case by case basis.If you come here expecting erp you'll probably be disappointed. This is an 18+ only venue due to the nature of our characters' themes, not because it is an erp venue.

For the most part, this element of the venue is part of our private story, only for trusted friends, not a minigame for first time café guests or a thinly veiled brothel.Please do not assert your character has meta-game knowledge of the secret bar's existence. Rumors are one thing, but assertions like this are a guarantee that your character will never be trusted with entry.

We (the two owners of Illusion) have been Rping in FFXIV on and off for around five years, and much more elsewhere. Our interest is story-driven, character focused serious role-play with queer, trans⚧, and monstrous themes, and creating spaces for characters that may not fit in elsewhere.
